Compressed Air - Marshmallow, Nerf Dart, Airsoft BB Gun

Supplies you will need for this build.

2 inch pipe - a 2 foot piece is large enough

1/2 inch pipe - for barrel and making small connector pieces

2 inch end cap

2 - 1/2 inch threaded connectors

2 inch reducer

1/2 inch to 2 inch bushing

1/2 inch T

2 - 1/2 inch 90 degree elbow pipes.

1 tire valve

PVC Ball valve - Don't buy this if you do not have a Dremel tool

1 copper pipe threaded ball valve

PVC primer and PVC cement

Saw

Drill

Dremel or Sand paper

Pliers

Utility Knife

Interesting things about this gun -

The copper ball valve is easier to turn than a PVC ball valve and allows you to release the air more quickly creating a farther flying shot.

The PVC ball valve allows you to breech load BB's and small marshmallows into the barrel.

Step 1. Mock up your parts to look like the picture above. Trim part of your 1/2 inch pipe into a barrel and use the rest of it to make the small connectors that you see in between the elbows and other fittings. All of the connecting pieces are 1/2 inch pipe. The air chamber is made of the two inch piece of pipe. I make the air chambers on my guns somewhere between 18 and 24 inches in length. Once all the pieces are cut and lined up, lightly assemble your gun to see if all the parts fit. Assembling it without the glue lets you see if you like the feel and size of the gun in your hands.

Step 2. Drill a hole 1/2 inch hole in the center of your two inch end cap.

Step 3. Dremel or sand around the newly formed hole to make it flat for the tire valve.

Step 4. Get some sudzy dish soap and brush it on the tire valve.

Step 5. Gently pull the tire valve through the hole with a pair of pliers.

Step 6. Glue your cap onto your 2 inch pipe.

Step 6 continued. Push the cap on tightly so no air will leak out. The primer and cement dry fast, so assemble the parts quickly.

Step 7. Glue on the reducer to the other side of the 2 inch pipe.
